We Believe In…
Empowerment through wellness.
The Centers at Palm Key is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization currently looking for funding so we can dedicate to giving military families the opportunity to live a healthy, quality life through different health and wellness treatments. We specialize in helping veterans, those with opioid addiction, and children with autism. We are determined to make this life more enjoyable for those struggling one breath of oxygen at a time.
Our Impact.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs estimates that PTSD affects almost 31 percent of Vietnam veterans. As many as 10 percent of Gulf War (Desert Storm) veterans. 11 percent of veterans of the war in Afghanistan. 20 percent of Iraqi war veterans. It is said that there are currently 22 PTSD suicides a day and it’s a sad truth.
The sale of painkillers alone has increased by over 300% since 1999 and overdoses caused by painkillers are more common than heroin and cocaine overdoses combined. We can’t even imagine what that number looks like today.
Fortunately, we know how to help and want to help! Our team at The Centers has been working diligently to raise the funding to create awareness of a successful proven treatment called Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. This, in conjunction with art therapy, has successfully brought our patients from a life full of struggle to a life of quality.
We understand that in this day in age most problems are treated with throwing a pill at the issue. HBOT actually does the opposite. It resolves the issue while removing the need for medication.

PTSD SUICIDES A DAY
We are in the midst of a suicide epidemic: 20 service members a day commit suicide, 8,000 a year. Another 45 a day try and fail, another 16,000+ a year. Read article...

DEATHS CAUSED BY OPIOID ADDICTION PER DAY
A 2016 HBOT research study, funded by the US Government National Institutes of Health, and published in the journal Brain Research, found that HBOT can halve the symptoms of opiate withdrawal. The lead researcher hailed the discovery as of “profound importance” at a time when heroin use has doubled among young Americans in the last decade.
One of Our Offered Therapies
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
- Increases the body’s ability to fight infections
- Potentiates antibiotic capabilities
- Decreases swelling and inflammation
- Accelerates cellular renewal
- Stimulates collagen production
- Improves quality of life for patients and their families
During the treatment, 100% oxygen is delivered into the chamber causing increased atmospheric pressure. This symbiosis causes oxygen concentration within the body to increase 15 to 20 times the normal air pressure. Increased oxygen concentrations help the body initiate cellular processes that can accelerate healing and aid in the recovery from certain conditions and illnesses. HBOT is known to be non-invasive and safe, and has minimal to no side effects. HBOT is always administered under the constant surveillance of a medical professional.
Benefits Include:
POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER
With nearly three times as much oxygen infused into the HBOT chamber as a person would be exposed to typically, HBOT helps decrease stress by helping the brain focus on healing. It also alleviates symptoms of depression and anxiety. People with PTSD benefit the most with repeated treatments in the hyperbaric oxygen chamber. Like conditioning in the gym, it takes some repetition upfront to see initial improvement. Read article...
OPIOID ADDICTION
Based on worldwide research and decades of evidence, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy continues to prove the safety and efficacy of HBOT in treating and helping to heal addictions and substance abuse disorders.
Other Benefits
By dissolving more oxygen within the blood plasma, oxygen can reach deep into inflamed tissues and areas of the body suffering from low blood flow and oxygen levels. This has been scientifically shown to help decrease inflammation throughout the body, reintroduce blood flow and induce a wide array of positive physiological and bio-chemical effects.
